Our Story

NCA Leadership Academy begins with a career, not a business plan. Our founder, Nahideh Habibian, spent more than three decades inside the Swiss financial sector, in senior roles where fund products, compliance and client responsibility meet. She trained teams, built up specialists and watched an industry grow more complex every year.

Courses and Certificate

Is the certificate recognised?

The Swiss International Fund Officer certificate is a private Swiss industry credential, not a state diploma and not government accredited. A trademark filing with the IGE, the Swiss trademark office, is underway. Its value is industry credibility and documented, regulator ready evidence of training.

Do I have to start with The Fund Basics?

The Fund Basics is the starting point in the sequential certificate path. It covers fund market fundamentals, product classification, legal basics and fund valuation, and is available online and in hybrid format.

Can I do this alongside my full time job?

Yes. NCA programmes are designed to be completed in 3 to 6 months alongside a full time job. Delivery includes online, hybrid, virtual classroom and in person formats, depending on the programme.

What does the programme cost?

The Fund Basics costs CHF 1,200 to 1,800, Know the FUNDamentals costs CHF 3,000, and Fund Officer costs CHF 11,600. Executive Coaching costs CHF 3,920 to 7,840, while the Online Subscription costs CHF 97 per month and can be cancelled monthly.

What does Fund Officer cover?

Fund Officer covers the legal framework in Switzerland and the EU, compliance and risk, governance, tax and strategy. It combines in person teaching with digital learning and carries the Swiss International Fund Officer certificate.

Enrolment and Formats

How do I enrol?

Build your selection on the courses page and send an enrolment request by email. NCA then confirms dates, formats and final pricing personally. There is no online payment at this stage.

Are programmes online or in person?

NCA delivers programmes in person in Zurich, in hybrid format, through virtual classroom and online self paced learning via LMS. The Fund Basics is online and hybrid, Know the FUNDamentals is hybrid and in person, and Fund Officer combines in person teaching with digital learning.

Can I get continuous regulatory updates?

Yes. The Online Subscription provides continuous learning access with new modules and regulatory updates. It costs CHF 97 per month and can be cancelled monthly.

For Employers and About NCA

Will my employer pay for Fund Officer?

Employer sponsorship support is available at Fund Officer level. NCA can provide a sponsorship one pager that you can give to your manager. For individual arrangements, contact nhs@ncaleadership.com.

What proof does my compliance department get?

The corporate annual licence provides LMS tracking of progress, completion and capability across the team. NCA training is designed to give organisations documented evidence of competence for ongoing regulatory training requirements.

Can you train my whole team?

Yes. NCA offers a corporate annual licence from CHF 10,000 per year, in house workshops from CHF 6,000, and executive coaching in house from CHF 1,180 to 1,860 per day. Consulting is also available for training strategy, gap analysis, curriculum design and certification planning.
